Indonesian cuisine with Gerda
Gerda comes from The Netherlands, with familiy ties in Indonesia. The Netherlands have a long (colonial) common history with Indonesia. Both returning Dutch people that have lived in Indonesia in colonial times as well as the many Indonesian people that live in The Netherlands have made the Indonesian cuisine a part of the Dutch culture. Gerda has always loved coocking Indonesian food and in September 2015 she started an Indonesian catering in Stavanger called “Toko Indonesia”, www.tokoindonesia.no
The combination of the used spices and the often long cooking time gives the food the special Indonesian taste.
– soto katjang (peanutsoup)
– gado gado with rice (vegetable dish with egg and tofu with a sauce with coconut milk)
Price: 400 kr / pers || 350 kr for students.
This price will cover ingredients and expenses related to the rental and organization of the event. Gerda will be remunerated by “donation” after the course.
