Portuguese cuisine with Cidalia

Cidália comes from Portugal and has been living in Stavanger since 2008. She works in the oil and gas industry as a geologist. When she is not working she dedicates her time to her (too) many interests: music, cinema, literature, knitting, crochet, cycling, hiking, mountaineering, travelling, spending time with friends and of course cooking and baking. She loves food from all over the world and enjoys trying out new flavors. She believes that food and drinks are best when enjoyed in the company of good friends.

Join Cidália to discover cuisine from her home country:
Portuguese cuisine is mostly based in fresh ingredients from the country and sea. However, it is mostly known by its numerous cod dishes. We willcontinue to explore this fish because it is very versatile and abundant in Norway! And if you have ever traveled to Portugal, you must have noticed the numerous pastry shops everywhere! Sweets and pastry are very important for us also, so we will also prepare a dessert.

On the menu:
– Ensopado de Borrego (Lamb Stew)
– Arroz Doce (Rice Pudding)


Price: 400 kr / pers || 350 kr for students
This price will cover ingredients and expenses related to the rental and organization of the event. Cidalia will be remunerated by “donation” after the course.
