French Cuisine with Therese – Cordon Bleu

serve for 4

INGREDIENTS: ts = teaspoon tbsp = tablespoon 

4 chicken breasts

200 gr thin sliced ham

 100 gr gruyere

600 gr flour’

 200 gr bread crumbs

2 garlic cloves finely chopped

1 tbsp salt

1 tbsp fresh pepper

 1 tbsp paprika

1 tbsp cajun seasoning

 1/2 ts cayenne pepper

 8 eggs well beaten



  • Preheat the oven to 180 C



  • Flatten the chicken breast

  • Place 50 gr of ham and 25 gr cheese in the middle and roll it
  • Place a cocktail stick to keep it together
  • Bake the chicken breasts in the oven for 20 minutes.




  • Combine all the breading ingredients, mix well, and place on a large platter. Place the egg wash in a wide, shallow bowl.



  • Place the baked chicken rolls in the egg wash and then coat evenly with the breading mixture. Repeat the process again.



  • Fry the chicken breasts in a hot pan with a good amount of canola oil until it gets a crunchy surface.
