Venezuelan Cuisine with Adriana – Quesillo

Serve : 8-10 

INGREDIENTS: ts = teaspoon tbsp = tablespoon 


1 can condensate milk 

4 eggs 

1 ½ cup (375ml) whole milk 

1 tbsp vanilla essence 

A drizzle of rum or brandy 

For the caramel: 

1 cup of white sugar

½ a cup of water 


  • Preheat the oven at 180 degrees C

  • Prepare in a small cooking pot the water and sugar to make the caramel, medium heat to prevent burned. It is ready when the caramel colours appear. Then add the caramel into a round glass cooking container

  • In the blender, mix all the other ingredients (eggs, condensate milk, milk, vanilla and run)

  • Add the mixture into the caramel /container and put into the oven for 45 -60 mins.

  • Let it cold before unmolded it
