Ayako is from Japan and came to Norway because of her job assignment early 2015.

Before coming to Stavanger, she lived for two years in Bangkok, also because of the work. Ayako, as many other internationals in Stavanger, is working in oil and gas industry. She was grown up in a little conservative family, and when she now looks back to her childhood, she realizes her grandmother as well as her mother were great chefs.

A lot of information about Japanese cooking can be found everywhere now, and always the core of the Japanese cuisine is to appreciate and enjoy ingredients, and season. Ayako would like to introduce Japanese home style cooking using local ingredients as much as possible.
