Norwegian food enthusiast, writer and entrepreneur

Since 2009 she has been writing about Norwegian food for publications in the US, Norway and throughout Europe. Her blog, Thanks for the Food, is widely read by people all over the world and culminated into a cookbook by the same name in 2014. Since 2012, Whitney has been writing a food column for the oldest and largest Norwegian newspaper in the United States.

Her interest in locally produced foods and local food traditions lead her to co-own and open Mathallen Stavanger in 2015.
